2025 is just around the corner...How to maximize it!

Samuel Varner

I know what you are thinking. You think I am going to tell you what everyone else tells you that you need to increase your savings and that you aren't saving enough for retirement and that you shop online way too much or that you need to stop ordering out. I could say all of those things but if you don't listen to yourself, you won't listen to me.

However, I am going to share something with you that will truly change how you approach your life. This is really what most want. It's not to be wealthy or famous but to have the life that you want. You really just want enough to take care of yourself and those you love. I want you to know that it's within your reach and that your goals are attainable. You may just need to tweak a few things in your financial life and if you are ready, I can show you where to start.

  1. You have to change the way you think about yourself. You must believe in you. If you don't believe in you, you won't achieve anything in your life. I would suggest the book. "Don't believe everything you think." By Joseph Nguyen. It's an easy read. You can also purchase my book "Developing the workforce of YOU!. Both books will help you to change how you look at yourself and view situations

  2. Your bank statements over a ninety-day period is your true budget. Use these actual numbers when constructing your budget.

  3. Say no to friends and family. Even if you can afford to help them, it's best to get into the habit of saying no. You say yes often times from an internal need to be loved, accepted or some sort of validation and not the external need that is being presented.

  4. Small changes can amount to large results. For example, instead of eating out three times a week change it to two. Instead of ordering coffee make it at home sometimes. These little changes can have a positive impact on your wallet.

  5. Lastly, I have my class it's on YouTube entitled The psychology of money. Check it out and trust me you won't think the same about yourself or your money.
